1. What this site is
eldervane is a free, independent, non-commercial editorial record published by Dana Fournier in Kingston, Ontario. It sells nothing, hosts no software, and takes no payment from anyone. Using the site means accepting these terms.
2. Accuracy, and the limits of it
Every date, price, rating and size on this site was read from a public store listing on the date printed beside it. Store listings change without notice and frequently do. Nothing here is guaranteed to still be true when you read it, and you should treat the store page itself as the authority before you spend money.
Where a fact could not be verified, the entry says so rather than estimating. Where we are wrong, we would like to know: [email protected]. Corrections are made and the read date is moved.
3. Our readings are opinion
The Upkeep states used on this site (in service, split, dormant, out of print) are our own editorial classification, applied using the published method, and the boundaries between them are chosen by us. They describe how recently a store listing was updated. They are not a statement about the quality, safety or fitness for purpose of any game, and they are not a statement about any developer's intentions.
4. Trademarks, screenshots and third-party rights
All game titles, studio names, logos, artwork and screenshots referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. Screenshots are reproduced from the publishers' own official store listings and are used for the purpose of review, criticism and news reporting. eldervane claims no ownership of them and does not present them as its own work.
eldervane is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any studio or publisher named here. If a rights holder objects to any specific use on this site, write to [email protected] and it will be reviewed promptly.
5. Links
Outbound links from the record go to official Google Play and App Store listings, and to publicly available policy pages of the services we use. We do not host, mirror, distribute or link to APK files, IPA files, modified builds, cracked versions, or third-party download mirrors, and we will not add such links on request.
We are not responsible for the content of any external site, including the store listings themselves. Prices and availability shown on those pages are set by the store and the developer, not by us.
6. No advice, no warranty
The record is published for general information. It is not consumer advice, technical advice or legal advice. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for loss arising from decisions made on the basis of information published here. In plain terms: check the store page before you pay.
7. Our own content
The written entries, the method, the Upkeep classification, and the design and code of this site are the work of eldervane. You are welcome to quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing entries wholesale, or reproducing the site's design, is not permitted without permission.
8. Subscriptions
Subscribing to entry updates is optional and free, requires an explicit consent tick, and can be cancelled at any time. Handling of your data is described in the privacy notice and the cookies and storage notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last were.
